On August 13, on the eve of the main professional holiday, the most anticipated sporting event of this summer took place on the territory of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex - the XXXIII Olympics among the builders of Moscow, dedicated to the All-Russian Day of Athlete and Builder's Day.
More than 4,000 people filled the Festival Alley on a hot Saturday morning, painting it with all sorts of bright colors. The mood of all the participants was joyful, because the forced two-year break in the competition due to epidemiological restrictions made them miss the competition.
By tradition, the event began with an opening march-parade, where the best sports uniform and decoration of the column are evaluated, taking into account slogans, streamers, flags, balls and other paraphernalia. In recent years, the Mosmetrostroy column has confidently established itself among the leading construction organizations, and recently, baby carriages designed in the form of a tubing have been added to the distinctive elements.
The opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow, the heads of construction organizations, the Central Committee of the trade union of builders and the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions. Deputy Mayor of Moscow Andrey Bochkarev and Chairman of the Trade Union of Builders of Moscow Valery Laptev addressed the participants of the holiday with a welcoming speech.
The program of the holiday included competitions in athletics (long jump, 100 m, 400 m, 800 m and 1500 m, 4x100 m relay), arm wrestling, weight lifting, darts, tug of war, volleyball and mini-football. Almost all of them took place on the playgrounds of the sports town. The exception was the mini-football tournament held on the fields near the Small Sports Arena.
The most massive and favorite type of program - family relay races - brought together more than 200 families. When calculating the results of this type, not only the time of passing the distance was taken into account, but also the number of families from each organization:

3rd place - Mosmetrostroy
In the team event in athletics (according to the 10 best results + relay) the winners were:

18 teams took part in arm wrestling competitions (among women, men in two weight categories up to 75 and over 75 kg). Three winners:
1st place - Mosgorgeotrest
2nd place - First DSC
3rd place - Mosmetrostroy
Competitions in team sports have rightfully become the most spectacular. Here, the teams of Mosmetrostroy showed their best moral and strong-willed qualities, losing only in the finals to the same rival - the teams of the Mosgorexpertise.
Based on the results, Mosmetrostroy took second place in the team event among 33 organizations, thus confirming its status as the sports elite of the Stroykompleks.
