The Moscow Metrostroy will carry out repair and restoration work on the Tsaritsyno-Kantemirovskaya section of the Zamoskvoretskaya line.
The observations of the operational services of the metro in this section recorded the movement of the running tunnels. According to the results of an expert survey, it is necessary to completely rebuild this site.
Builders will work around the clock for six months. The replacement of the old tunnel with a length of 120 meters will be carried out in an open way, since the depth of the site is small - about 12-13 meters.
This will require the construction of enclosing structures of the excavation using the "wall in the ground" method and from secant piles in the area of urban communications. In addition, due to the complexity of the terrain, a retaining wall made of steel pipe piles will be required.
Then it is necessary to develop a foundation pit and dismantle the emergency section of the tunnel, after which the foundation of the new tunnel will be made and elements of the cast-iron lining will be mounted.
