Station Marina Roshcha

JSC Mosmetrostroy is a diversified construction company that carries out on a contract basis construction of underground facilities, underground, transportation, civil and other structures from scratch. Metrostroy was established in 1931 and laid the foundations of the domestic metro construction. The first line of the Moscow metro was built in record time and put into operation on May 15, 1935.

LOCATION

The station is located under parallel running Sheremetevskaya street. The station has two vestibules: the southern one, which is located not far from the intersection of Sheremetevskaya street with Suschevsky Val street, and the northern one, located in the immediate vicinity of the intersection of Sheremetyevskaya street with the 4th passage Maryina Roshcha.

STATION DESIGN

The station Maryina Roshcha is construct at a depth of 80 meters. In conditions of dense urban development, the drilling was carried out by a closed drilling and blasting method. When building the inclined escalator tunnel of the Maryina Roshcha station, Mosmetrostroy used the tunnel mechanized complex of the Canadian company Lovat for the first time in the world. The tunnel was completed in just 2.5 months.
