Specialists of the Moscow Metrostroy construction began dismantling obsolete structures of the Pionerskaya station, partially closed to passengers from the center in the first quarter of 2017.
At present, the old service and technological premises have been completely dismantled, the dismantling of the platform has begun. Work is underway to arrange a new waterproofing of the entrance pavilion of the western lobby of the Pionerskaya station.
According to the project, materials from domestic manufacturers will be used for finishing. In order to increase the energy efficiency of the facility, it is planned to use special glass, which reduces the heating of the premises in the summer and prevents the loss of heat in winter.
After reconstruction, the area of the Pionerskaya station will increase by 246 m² due to the addition of elevators.
