STATION DESIGN

Pyatnitskoye Shosse is the station of small laying, columned, two-span.

The works on the construction of the station and the 2 km long stretches were conducted in a tense mode from July 2011 to December 2012. The work was carried out round the clock: in the period of the largest scale of the construction of the site, up to 1,700 people were involved. In total, it was necessary to transfer about a dozen engineering structures of city communications.

ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION

The originality of the Pyatnitskoye shosse lies in the fact that the island type platform has a curved shape. This feature was used to create the architectural design of the station, which turned out to be original due to the variety of species and the contrast of colors of granite and marble. Thus, the walls, located along the inner arc of the station, are faced with white marble, and on the outer arc - in black. Along the axis of the platform there are black-and-white columns.
